Policies

Welcome to Wander Sports! We take pride in providing our customers with a safe and enjoyable experience while out on the water.

To ensure the safety of our customers and the longevity of our equipment, we have established the following policies:

Safety Policy: The safety of our customers is our top priority. All customers must wear a personal flotation device (PFD) while using our equipment. In addition, customers must be able to swim and have basic knowledge of paddling techniques. We also reserve the right to deny rental to anyone who we believe may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Equipment Damage Policy: Our inflatable stand up paddle boards are high-quality and durable, but they still require proper care to maintain their condition. We expect our customers to treat our equipment with respect and to avoid any intentional damage. We prohibit the use of our SUPs in shallow water, near rocks, or in any other areas where the equipment could be damaged. In the event that our equipment is damaged due to negligence or misuse, the customer will be responsible for repair or replacement costs.

Rental Agreement: Before using our equipment, all customers must sign a rental agreement that outlines our policies and provides important safety information. This agreement includes a waiver of liability and a statement acknowledging that the customer has read and understands our policies.

Safety Instruction: We will provide a brief safety instruction video for customers before use of the equipment. This instruction will cover inflation/deflation of the board, basic paddling techniques, safety rules, and emergency procedures.

Rental Periods: Our rental periods are typically for a half-day or full-day. Customers are responsible for returning the equipment at the end of the rental period. Late fees may apply for equipment returned after the agreed-upon time.

Reservations: We strongly encourage customers to make reservations in advance to ensure availability. Reservations can be made online or by phone.

Age Restrictions: Anyone over the age of 18 or a minor accompanied by their respective adult guardian may rent our equipment upon signing a Release of Liability waiver/Hold Harmless Agreement.

Payment: We accept all Credit Cards, cash, venmo, apple pay or pay online once you book your activity. A credit card pre-authorization hold of $100 is required and will be released upon the return of the rental equipment in good condition.

Reservation Requirements: All renters must provide a valid form of ID upon pick up for a single rider or just one for a group. Anyone over the age of 18 or a minor accompanied by their respective adult guardian may rent our equipment.

Cancellations/Rescheduling/Refunds: Cancellations made 5 days or more before your reserved date are eligible for a full refund, less a 10% processing fee.
Cancellations made between 2 - 5 days from your reserved date will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours from your reserved date will receive NO refund, a credit can be provided only if the equipment is rebooked by another party.

NO SHOWS are charged in full for the rental period reserved. Any party that has not arrived by the scheduled time of the rental shall be deemed a NO SHOW. We are flexible; if you are running late, please just let us know.
We reserve the right to cancel your reservation for violations to our policies.

We reserve the right, solely at our discretion, to reschedule and/or cancel your reservation in the event of inclement weather. Reservations cancelled due to weather (or any other VALID and APPROVED reason) during the rental period will be given a voucher for credit toward use of same or similar piece of equipment at later date or time

We know it's a lot, but by following these policies, we can provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our customers while also maintaining the quality of our equipment. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to serving you.
